Trifecta+Mukluk+Swedish Fish=double fist pump

My feet are officially up and I'm not doing anything for the rest of the day. Scott is in Northern California (yes I'm jealous!) for work so it's just me and the dogs at home. I plan on putting on PJ's, making popcorn, and watching a movie. Oh the exciting life of a bike racer :-)

I had one of those perfect days on the bike yesterday. It's nice being able to leave my house and reach several different trails within an hour of riding. Yesterday I rode the trifecta (Luton, Cannonsburg and Egypt Valley). After adding in a few more roads I ended up getting about 73 miles in on the Mukluk.

I was so happy to be on singletrack. All three trails are in perfect shape right now....
About three hours into my ride I had to stop for some ride food. In my opinion there is nothing better then Swedish Fish and Payday's...except maybe haribou gummy bears :-)

Today is a rest day and usually I spin my legs out for an hour. Not today though. I did some serious dog walking at a fundraiser for the West Michigan Humane Society, called Bark in the Park. Between walking an awesome dog (Layla) that is up for adoption, and then my dogs at home, I think I've totaled about 3-plus hours of walking. Hence the reason why my legs are up for the rest of the day :-) I need to recover for tomorrow's workout!

That is a nice picture of the trail! I like all the little white wild flowers. This is a great time of year for riding.
